Lualu:

How to enable CCPA privacy on Google Adsense – Actually, the CCPA privacy notice on Google Adsense goes back about a year, towards the end of 2019. But maybe now there are still some people who don’t understand CCPA privacy and don’t have it. activated in Google Adsense.

Simply put, ACCP privacy is a law or statute that governs the privacy rights of residents of California. Google Adsense, as one of the large companies that uses user data, has an obligation to provide California residents with options to use their personal data, such as history, location, and more, in accordance with requirements of this country.

Well, as Adsense publishers, of course we need to follow Google Adsense recommendations to enable CCPA privacy. By enabling this, the publisher allows Google Adsense to display advertisements in accordance with California laws. When we turn it on, Californians will show a notification bar asking questions about their data usage.

To check whether CCPA privacy is active or not, please follow the steps below:

  1. Please sign in to your AdSense account.
  2. Click on the Announcements or Announcements section.
  3. Select your site, then click the pencil icon to edit the site. Your site preview will open, then select the More Features tab on the right side.
  4. Enable the CCPA privacy message toggle.
  5. Then click Apply to site at the bottom.

Google says this CCPA privacy message does not support AMP blogging. This CCPA privacy feature will show privacy messages only on non-AMP sites, but not on AMP sites. There is no further explanation for this, but I think AMP has its own way of privacy for this CCPA on amp-ad.

And I, even though I use the AMP blog, I still turn this feature on just in case.
